WHAT
WE DO

CASA of Polk County's sole focus is to ensure children and youth in the judicial dependency system have safe, permanent homes through advocacy, fundraising, and awareness.

MAKE AN IMPACT

Every day, we are closer to our vision for a safe and permanent home for children and youth in our community.

PLAN
FOR

CHANGE

Change takes time. It takes dedication and a plan. We take a multi-pronged approach to make a change in the judicial dependency system of Polk County. Through advocacy, education, and partnerships we can support the children and youth with caring and qualified CASAs to achieve our vision of a safe and permanent home for all children.

Raise Up Advocates

CASAs are a dedicated voice to the children they advocate for. Their sole focus is to make sure the best interests of children are a top priority.

Support
Children

We are more than a voice for children who are wards of the dependency judicial system. We also provide much needed items to those in foster care through our Annual Drives. These include Backpacks & School Supplies, Pajamas and Story Books, and Holiday Toy and Coat Drives.

Educate Our Community

Education is essential to our mission. Our community needs to know the impact that CASAs have on children in the juvenile dependency system.

Equip Our CASAs

CASAs are a cornerstone of our mission. They encounter potentially difficult situations. Appropriate training and support is imperative to their success and the well-being of the children on their caseload.

Create Strategic Partnerships

We cannot do it alone. Your partnership means we will have the resources to equip more CASAs and support more children.

Advance Our Mission

The data shows that our mission makes a difference. Our success directly translates to more positive outcomes for children and youth in the juvenile dependency system.
